HHN Tours, Rides, and Experiences
There are many different tours, rides, and experiences available during Halloween Horror Nights. That’s why we’re here, right?
Let’s review what we know about HHN 2024 things to do.
HHN Haunted Houses
If you’re looking for a truly spine-tingling experience this Halloween, there’s no better place to be than Universal Orlando Resort.
With haunted houses and a slew of other creepy attractions, Universal Orlando is the perfect destination for those who love to be scared.
From the hair-raising House of Bloom to the gruesome Halloween Horror Nights of Islands of Adventure, there’s something for everyone at Universal Orlando.
So if you’re ready to scream your head off, check out Universal Orlando’s haunted houses this Halloween season!
Though Universal hasn’t released all the information about HHN, we have a few glimpses.
Insidious: The Further
I’ve been hearing a lot about Universal Orlando’s haunted house that features Insidious: The Further. In this haunted attraction, called “Enter The Further,” visitors are taken into a world where demons try to ensnare them. The Red Faced Demon, known from the Insidious movies, plays a central role in the experience, luring guests into his lair. Additionally, KeyFace, another terrifying character from the Insidious series, is featured in the haunted house, unlocking visitors’ deepest fears. It sounds like a truly spine-chilling and immersive experience for fans of the horror genre!
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
Visit Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights and experienced the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire haunted house, which was incredibly thrilling. The haunted house will be based on the storyline of an ancient artifact releasing a chilling new entity, Garraka, who would stop visitors cold.
The only hope for survival was the Ghostbusters, who were there to prevent guests from getting “iced.” We can only expect the attention to detail in the haunted house to be phenomenal, with the combination of special effects and the eerie atmosphere truly making it an unforgettable experience.
A Quiet Place
Universal Orlando has announced an exciting addition to its lineup of haunted houses for the upcoming Halloween Horror Nights event. One of the highly anticipated haunted houses is themed after the popular movie franchise “A Quiet Place.”
The haunted house will immerse guests in the terrifying world of the first two films, where making a sound can attract monstrous creatures that will hunt you down. With expertly designed sets and spine-tingling effects, visitors can expect a truly nail-biting experience as they navigate through the haunted house, always at risk of drawing the attention of the relentless creatures.
Universal Orlando’s haunted house based on “A Quiet Place” promises to be a heart-pounding and immersive attraction that will leave guests on the edge of their seats.

There are no houses in these areas, but it’s still fun to walk around and see the theming at night.

The hustle and bustles of Diagon Alley come to an end at 5 p.m., when it’s closed for regular daytime guests during Halloween Horror Nights events.
Anyone with an HHN ticket can wait in this designated holding area until HHN begins so you can enjoy Harry Potter And The Escape From Gringotts as part of the event!
HHN Scare Zones
One of the best parts of Halloween Horror Nights is the immersive experience of the Scare Zones.

- Arrive Early: HHN does not officially start until 6:30 pm, but the lines to get in can start forming as early as 4 pm.
- Wear Comfortable Shoes: You will be doing a lot of walking during HHN so it’s important to wear comfortable shoes.
- We also recommend bringing a small backpack with any essentials you may need such as water, snacks, and a jacket.
- Dress for the Weather: Orlando can get quite warm during the day, but it can also get cool at night.
- We recommend checking the weather forecast in advance and dressing accordingly.
- Bring a Portable Charger: There’s nothing worse than your phone dying in the middle of HHN.
- Be sure to bring a portable charger with you so you can keep your phone powered up all night long.
- Do not visit during peak dates. On these days you will be waiting up to 3 hours to get into just one haunted houses.
These busy times mean crowded streets and long lines for the rides and attractions.
Dates to avoid:
Sept. 3, 10, 17, 24
Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29
- Eat before you get to the park so that you can spend all of your time enjoying the tours, events, and rides.
- Stop by Mel’s Drive-In for one of the best photo-ops.
- The lines will thin out as the time get’s closer to 11 pm so try to stay until the very end if possible.
If you’re looking for a scare this Halloween, I highly recommend Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights.
This year’s event is truly terrifying, and there are tons of new attractions to check out. Just be sure to bring your courage (and maybe an extra pair of pants) along with you!
