Planning a Disney World vacation can mean trying to make sure everything is perfect, down to what you carry your things in. So when you look for the best bag for Disney World, what comes up? Now we can get to the main reason for this article. What is the best bag for Disney World? Ultimately, that depends on what you are using it for. For park days, you want a lightweight bag that still has space for all the necessities. Amazon has plenty of great options for you at great prices!

Walt Disney World lets you bring your bags on all the rides, so that’s one thing you don’t have to worry about. While some people like to try to bring as little as they can when they go places so they have less to carry, that can be an issue in some situations. 

You don’t know how many people leave their sunglasses and phones in the inside pockets of rides and forget them. It’s a lot better when you know exactly where they are, tucked away in your backpack.

I’m a huge supporter of bringing a bag to the parks. Also, definitely save some room in there. If you buy something during the day (which, let’s be real, you probably will), it’s a great feeling when you know that you can just put it in your day bag and not have to carry anything extra around the whole day.

ZOMAKE Backpack

This is my all-time favorite backpack, period. In fact, I’ve given it as a gift. And have had mine for many years. It’s probably one of my most prized Disney vacation tools.

In fact, it is packed as I write this for our Magic Kingdom day tomorrow.

Not only have I had this backpack for a very long time, but now I have an infant, and it is able to be the diaper backpack, pumping supplies, and everything else. It’s amazing.

G4Free 20L Backpack

This option is under twenty dollars and is spacious, waterproof, and foldable! It can fold into a small bag (8 x 9 inches), which is a great bonus for packing it in your travel bag. 

The bag has comfortable straps for carrying it around all day in the park and even has a two-year refund if it breaks down in that period. 

4Monster Backpack

This option is pretty similar to the first, though it has a little less storage room, which matches the slightly lower price. It also has some extra color options if that is a factor in your decision. Like the first bag, it folds into a small pack, is waterproof, tear-resistant, and super lightweight. A great option when looking for the best bag for Disney World park trips. 

Best Bag for Disney World – Getting There 

Of course, before you even get to the parks, you have to get to wherever you are staying, packed with all you need for your vacation! Whether you are staying for four days or two weeks, you need to be able to fit some outfits, shoes, pajamas, and everything you need in a bag suited to your needs.

There are a lot of great options for bags to use during travel. Some people pack a suitcase and check their luggage, while others use duffels or backpacks to fit everything. Here are a few options for everyone, no matter how you prefer to travel!

Travel Duffel Bag

This weekend bag is great for a short trip. It’s stylish and well-designed and can also serve as your hand luggage along with a roller carry-on. It has a back sleeve that allows it to slide perfectly over the handle. This is perfect if you don’t have to pack too much, and it’s easy to carry. 

Beraliy Travel Backpack

Similar to the first option here, this is a great bag for short trips or as hand luggage. It is reasonably priced and has so many designs to choose from. The shoulder strap is adjustable and removable, and this bag also has the space to slide the luggage handle through so the tote rests on top. 

Wrangler Carry-On

I’ve been looking for a good small roller luggage option for a while now, and Wrangler on Amazon has a really great option here.

The bag is a small 20-inch size, with a hard casing.

It offers plenty of extra features, like the easy-to-move, spinning wheels, and a USB port (power bank not included) on the back that leads into a phone holder, which can also be converted into a cup holder.

MGOB Carry On

This option is pretty much the same price as the one above but is a little bigger at 22 inches. It has more room but still works perfectly as a carry-on, though it doesn’t offer all those extra features like the previous option. But sometimes, simple is better. 

Crossbody Bags for Disney 

Having been to Disney a lot, I can confidently say that in some cases, the best bag for Disney World’s day travel is a crossbody bag.

It’s smaller yet still fits the essentials and can be more comfortable. Also, its position on your hip is safer than having a bag on your back, as you can always see it situated at the front of your body.

This is a great benefit for people more concerned with stealing while they travel. 

Small Sling Crossbody

When you don’t need a lot, an option like this is perfect. It can fit a wallet, cell phone, sunglasses, and a few other things, and is anti-theft designed. The straps and mesh panels on the body of the bag are strong and slash-resistant, so no one can cut it off and steal it. Along with that, it is RFID blocking. 

Carhartt Crossbody

This bag is similar to the one above, with a different, slightly larger shape that can fit a Mini iPad. It also has RFID-blocking card slots and passport pockets and is made from water and stain-resistant nylon.

This is a sleek, minimalist option, and I really love that it has so many card pockets inside. That means you can ditch the wallet and put everything you need there for convenience and ease. 

Best Diaper Bag for Disney

If you are traveling to Disney World with young children, you’ve probably already started looking into what the best diaper bag for your vacation is.

It’s your go-to bag with everything you and your children need throughout the day, so it needs to have lots of room and compartments, be built well, and be comfortable to carry.

Best Purse for Disney World

There are a few key features that can make a purse the best option for a day at Disney World. 

Firstly, it should be lightweight and comfortable to carry, as you’ll be walking around a lot. 

It should also be compact enough to fit all of your essentials but not so big that it becomes cumbersome. 

Additionally, it should have secure compartments or closures to keep your belongings safe on rides and in crowds. 

Lastly, a water-resistant or waterproof material can be helpful in case of rain or water rides.

What Can You Bring to Disney World

Before you head off on your Disney World trip, there’s one thing you might not have considered: what you’ll need day today while you explore the parks. It’s good to check what you are allowed to bring in and what you should bring with you. 

Going into the parks, your bags will be searched, so be prepared for that. It’s easier and faster if you are ready, with an already opened bag and all the pockets unzippered. 

Walt Disney World has similar rules to other theme parks, and the prohibited items are what you’d expect, like weapons, fireworks, flammable objects, alcohol and illegal drugs, drones, scooters, and similar items. A full list is on the official website here. 

You can’t have selfie sticks, folding chairs, or any masks and costumes unless you are under fourteen. Another rule to remember is that for Animal Kingdom, all straws, except for paper straws and balloons, are not allowed, as they are harmful to the animals. 

Allowed Items

Surprisingly, there are a lot of things you are allowed to bring into the parks at Disney World. Having the best bag for Disney World means considering what you are putting in it.

First things first, I definitely recommend bringing your own snacks with you. You will get hungry after running around all day in the heat, and it will save you a lot of money.

A few other things you should definitely pack: your wallet (though don’t pack more money than you need), sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a reusable water bottle, bandaids, and your phone.
