Best Quick Restaurants Service at Epcot

Best Quick Service at Epcot

Not everyone wants to have a sit-down meal when visiting Disney’s Epcot. Sometimes, fast food is essential in making the day’s itinerary work. Disney’s answer is to provide quick-service restaurants within the park. What are the best quick-service Epcot restaurants?

There’s no messing around when it’s time to eat.  I’ll make sure to list just about all of the quick-service Epcot locations, but I will make sure to note the top options.

The best quick-service restaurants at Epcot, in my opinion, are 1. Regal Eagle Smokehouse; 2: Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie; 3: Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe; 4: Sunshine Seasons; 5: La Cantina de San Angel.

There is something on this list for everyone in your party. Satisfy your sweet tooth or quench that BBQ craving. Just want a sandwich, no problem. Not sure what you want? I have a suggestion for that, too.

As I said, everyone will be well-fed for the next round of attractions and rides. Keep reading, and I will fill you in on the details of the quick-service restaurants on my list.

What is Quick Service dining?

What is quick service dining? There is a very simple answer to that question. Quick-service dining is fast food without the unhealthy.

Every quick-service restaurant is either cafeteria-style or counter-service. A cafeteria-style will have you walking through the food line and getting prepared food from servers on the other side of the counter.

Counter service is when prepared foods, such as sandwiches and baked goods, are displayed so that you can choose what you want from your server.

You simply order what you want and go find a spot to sit and eat. Quick-service restaurants are a very popular way to refuel during your Epcot adventure.

Right to it, the top 5 best quick-service Epcot locations

OK, so let’s get right to it. Here is my list of the top 5 quick service Epcot dining locations.

quick service epcot

1. Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Howdy partner! Get your BBQ on at this tasty homage to American barbeque. Located within the American Adventure Pavilion, this quick-service restaurant earns top honors in my book.

The barbecue is mouthwatering. You have a choice of several sauces, including Blue Ribbon Brisket Sauce (a savory spicy sauce), Sizzlin’ Pit Dry Rub Coalition (a classic smokehouse sauce), Old Glory Mustard Guild (a sweet mustard sauce), and the Blue Ridge Vinegar League (a vinegar base sauce).

There is quite a variety of food from which to choose. It is hard to decide between offerings like Memphis Dry-rub Pork Ribs, Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich, South Carolina Smoked Sausage Sandwich, or the plant-based BBQ Jackfruit Burger.

Add to your dish with one of their sides. You will not want to miss their Baked Beans With Burnt Ends or house-made Mac & Cheese. Wash all that goodness down with a Tennessee Lemonade or Cigar City Jai Alai IPA. Don’t forget to indulge in the Apple Tart for dessert!

Prices range, but most are under $15 per person. That’s pretty affordable for any Disney park. The Regal Eagle Smokehouse serves lunch and dinner.

You will thank me if you add this stop to your must-eat quick service Epcot restaurant list.

2. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

Vive la France! It is too hard to choose what to eat when you enter Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. Visit this quick-service Epcot location in the France Pavilion for a once-in-a-lifetime French experience without actually visiting France.

Enjoy some  Bisque de Homard (lobster bisque), Creme de Brie (warm creamy brie in a bread bowl), or Quiche Florentine. Yes, this is fast food at Epcot. That’s not all they offer either.

Enjoy some French pastry from the dessert and bakery menus. You must try the tarts, eclairs, macarons, and beignets. They are to die for!! It doesn’t matter which you pick; you will be in heaven with every bite of any sweet treat you order from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie.

Need a little pick-me-up? Grab a French Espresso, Cappuccino, or Latte for the road. Want something a little harder? Order a Kronenbourg 1664 Beer, Champagne, or glass of French wine.

Prices are right on par with Epcot, with most items costing less than $15b per person. Serving hours are from 11 AM to 10 PM.

It was hard for me not to make Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie number one on my list. Make sure you make a point of visiting one of Epcot’s best quick-service food restaurants.

3. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

Skol! Travel to the Norway Pavilion and get a taste of traditional and wonderfully delicious Norwegian fare.

Feel like you traveled to Norway when you enter this quick-service Epcot restaurant over the intricate mosaic tile floor and surrounded by warm-colored wooden paneling that makes the most tired guests feel as if they’ve arrived home.

Enjoy fresh baked Norwegian treats like Norwegian Kringla, a pretzel-shaped pastry with cinnamon, almond, or chocolate toppings, or some Lefse, which is a traditional potato flatbread rolled with sweet cinnamon butter. How about some Rice Cream, a creamy rice pudding topped with strawberry sauce? Who can resist?

Don’t miss their Frozen treat menu. Yes, I mean Frozen, the movie. There is the Frozen II Caramel Mousse (sea salt caramel mousse with vanilla cake crust and white chocolate), the Frozen II Frozen Orange Vanilla Cream Soda (served in a souvenir sipper), the Olaf Oreo Cheesecake (cookie base layer with cookies and cream flavored cheesecake), the Frozen II Souvenir Sipper, and the Sven Souvenir Sipper.

Order a Viking Coffee for a special alcoholic treat. It is flavored with Kamora Coffee Liqueur and Baileys Irish Cream.

Almost everything is under $15 per person. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is open from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

Definitely, one of the great quick service Epcot restaurants you will find.

4. Sunshine Seasons

If you are searching for a healthier option to fast food at Epcot, head over to Future World and visit Sunshine Seasons.

Sunshine Seasons is one of a few quick-service Epcot restaurants that offers breakfast. Wake up to a Breakfast Panini, a Broccoli and Egg-White Soufflé, or some Ciabatta French Toast.

Don’t miss their bakery items, including several muffins, bagels, tarts, cookies, cupcakes, and so much more.

While Sunshine Seasons offers a variety of burgers, flatbreads, and pulled pork sandwiches, those looking to stick to their diet will be delightfully surprised by their most popular options. Try their Oak-Grilled Rotisserie Chicken or Oak-Grilled Salmon. Craving something lighter? Order their Power Salad to get you through the rest of your day.

Sunshine Seasons also offers a respectful plant-based menu that includes their Breakfast Power Wrap (with wild rice, sweet potatoes, blueberries, avocado, and tofu) and a Whole Wheat Pita. There is also a huge selection of grab-and-go items that suit your vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free lifestyle.

Most items are priced below $15. Sunshine Seasons opens with the park and closes at 10:00 PM.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

5. La Cantina de San Angel

Ándale, ándale! You are going to want to hurry to the Mexico Pavilion and grab a bite to eat on the waterfront outdoor patio of La Cantina de San Angel. This quick service Epcot restaurant has true charm and excellent food.

Choose from some of your favorite south-of-the-border treats like Empanadas con Queso (fried flour tortillas filled with cheese, served with Mexican slaw), Tacos de Barbacoa (seasoned beef, homemade corn tortilla, Mexican rice, refried black beans, and red salsa), and Pollo Cascabel (grilled chicken, Mexican rice, corn, Cascabel sauce, and pickled onions).

Make sure to grab a Jarritos to wash down that churro you know you have to eat. 😉 Prefer something a little stronger? What is a good Mexican restaurant without a good selection of alcoholic beverages? Cool off with a Blood Orange Margarita or try a Tequila Mexican Sangria. If you want a beer instead. This is the place to grab an ice-cold Tecate or Dos Equis.

Most prices fall under the $15 range. La Cantina de San Angel is open for lunch and dinner.

Stop by for a delicious and relaxing meal.

That rounds out my top 5 favorite Epcot quick-service restaurants. It took a bit of experimenting to come up with this list. Yes, I go to Disney every now and then. 😉

Make sure to check the menu options for your favorite locations before you head to the park. Epcot quick service restaurants change their offerings regularly and may add something you must have.

All other quick-service Epcot restaurants

I covered my favorite quick-service Epcot restaurants. However, you should have a full list of fast-food restaurants. You can also check out https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/ for up-to-date information on all Disney restaurants.

Which quick service Epcot restaurants to avoid?

I touched a bit on all the quick service Epcot restaurants. You have the full list and my top 5 best. Now it is time to talk about the worst.

Unfortunately, with the good always comes the bad. There are different reasons I think these restaurants are not up to par compared to the rest. I will say that this list of quick-service restaurants to avoid is based on online reviews along with my personal experiences.

The Lotus Blossom Cafe

While there is plenty of atmosphere at the Lotus Blossom Cafe, the food leaves much to be desired. With all the more creative food options available at Epcot, there really is no need to eat here.

Most online reviews compare their food to your local Chinese takeout. For the price, you get more food from your neighborhood restaurant. Why bother wasting your money here when you can savor something different and more exciting elsewhere.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

The reviews for the Yorkshire County Fish Shop are mixed. People are truly torn about their feelings toward this quick-service Epcot restaurant.

I added it to my list for two reasons. First, their menu is severely limited. They offer Fish and Chips, a Chicken and Mushroom Pasty, some beverages, and a couple of British Lagers. Second, the Fish and Chips they sell can be greasy and not fluffy and crisp.

As I stated, reviews are mixed. Some people swear the food is the best ever. I will leave this one up to you to decide. Personally, it is a no. There are more exciting offerings found at other quick-service restaurants in Epcot.

A Final Word

There you have it. While this is my best of Epcot quick dining restaurants, we all know everyone has different tastes. I love to compare notes with my fellow Disney Travel Agents. We have to stay on top of anything and everything. Disney and food are probably the most important! 😉

My advice to you is simple. Follow your stomach! If you try something on my list, let me know what you thought. I love to hear about adventurous Disney food experiences!

Until then, HAPPY EATING!!
