I always make time for a trip to Disney Springs. It always ends up being a highlight. Disney Springs is an enormous shopping/ dining/ entertainment complex. It is part of Disney World Resort and has no shortage of interesting things to do, see, and eat. So, the question is, where can we get a Disney Springs map to plan our trip?
Walt Disney World Maps
Disney Springs is composed of four distinct districts: The Marketplace, The Landing, Town Center, and West Side. These are intended to imitate the actual history and layout of many southern Florida towns. Each district has a fictional history attached to its architecture and development. Just a few notes on each in case you’re considering a visit:
The Marketplace
Modeled after the Craftsman style of the 1930s, this area houses the first Earl of Sandwich restaurant ever founded, plus the Rainforest Cafe and the Lego Store.
The Landing
Houses the docks and marina of the fictional Disney Springs town. Formerly, The Landing was known as the Pleasure District, and housed several bars and dance clubs. It currently features Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar and the Boathouse (for the resort’s touring amphibious vehicles).
Town Center
The fictional town’s business/ financial district in the Spanish Revival style. Featuring many well-known and popular stores, including Anthropologie, Uniqlo, and Sephora.
West Side
The exposition center that the fictional town developed during the 1950s, designed to hold Disney Springs’ entertainment options. This is where you’ll find the enormous dine-in movie theater and the live entertainment spaces.
Transportation
The entire Disney Springs area is designed to be very walkable but still accessible. From Disney Resorts there is usually multiple forms of transportation. It offers Disney-sponsored complimentary shuttles and buses to and from the other parks. There is also water transport across the Lake Buena Vista.
If you are bringing your car to Disney Springs, you’re in luck. All of the parking lots and garages are completely free with your visit! Valet parking is available for $20 without tips.
There is also designated parking for visitors with disabilities in every parking lot and a garage with a valid permit. Wheelchair, ECV, and stroller rentals are also available in the Disney Springs complex.
Disney Springs Map
Let’s save you some time as you plan your trip to Disney Springs. I’ve gathered together all the information you need to know!
Take a look at the official Disney Springs map right here.
Google Maps aren’t your thing? I totally get it. Go ahead and download this official park map laid out the good old-fashioned way.
Here’s what you need to know about getting around in Disney Springs.
- There’s lots of little shops where you can take full advantage of your Disney Snack Credits. I have an entire post dedicated to how you can take full advantage of these bonus (yet often underused) part of the Disney Dining Plan.
- The top level of the Coca-Cola store has a gorgeous view of Disney Springs. It doesn’t require a purchase to enter.
- Visit the Marketplace Co-Op for some of the best shopping in the area. This store constantly changes its inventory in the Marketplace area of Disney Springs, where it tests new products and shops. I would visit this place if you’re looking for that perfect Disney souvenir that doesn’t scream “tourist” and also doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg.
- Visiting the Boathouse restaurant could include an exciting ride on vintage-styled amphibious cars. For $120 (check ahead for any possible discounts), you can speed around the lake and see the shoreline of the entire Disney Springs.
- There are hotels near Disney Springs, about a 30-minute shuttle ride away. Technically, off-site hotels do not include some of the benefits of staying at Disney’s resorts. However, they do have opportunities for you to save money (especially if you have available travel points to redeem at these hotels). Read more on staying on budget accommodations for your Disney trip.
- Not all restaurants and bathrooms in Disney Springs are handicap-accessible, so it’s a good idea to glance over the map and learn your way around if accessibility is a concern for you.
- The Disney Springs map is also available in app form if you download the My Disney Experience app (get it for iOS here).
- There is live entertainment throughout Disney Springs… and most of it is free! Of course, if you go for a Cirque du Soleil performance, you will have to get your tickets in advance. However, there are numerous small plazas and performance spaces scattered throughout the shopping centers and eateries in Disney Springs, and there are small shows all the time. Catch a rock performer or an orchestra and enjoy the music.
How Much Time Do You Need at Disney Springs?
With over 100 shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, it’s a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. But how much time do you really need to spend at Disney Springs to make the most of your visit?
If you’re planning a trip to Disney Springs, it’s recommended that you allocate at least half a day to exploring the area. This will give you enough time to visit some of the most popular shops and restaurants, as well as take in some of the entertainment options available.
For those who love to shop, Disney Springs offers a wide variety of stores featuring everything from clothing and accessories to souvenirs and Disney-themed merchandise. Some of the most popular shops include World of Disney, Marketplace Co-Op, and The LEGO Store. It’s easy to spend several hours browsing through all the different stores, so plan accordingly.
Foodies will also enjoy the many dining options available at Disney Springs. From casual options like Blaze Pizza and Earl of Sandwich to fine dining experiences like Morimoto Asia and The Boathouse, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to make reservations in advance for the more popular restaurants, as they can book up quickly.
If you’re traveling with children, there are plenty of entertainment options for them as well. The LEGO Store offers a play area where kids can build and play with LEGO bricks, while the Marketplace Carousel and Marketplace Train Express provide fun rides for young children.
In addition to shopping, dining, and entertainment, Disney Springs also offers some unique experiences, such as the Aerophile balloon ride and the VOID virtual reality experience. These experiences are not to be missed, but they do require additional time and planning.
How Long is the Walk Around Disney Springs?
When it comes to taking a walk around Disney Springs, the duration of your excursion can vary based on your chosen route and any stops you make along the way.
If you opt to stroll without too many breaks, you can expect to complete a loop around the central areas like the Marketplace, Town Center, and The Landing in around 30 minutes to an hour.
However, many visitors take their time and indulge in shopping, dining, or entertainment, which can extend their stay. To ensure you make the most of your visit, it’s a good idea to consult a map and plan your itinerary in advance.
As Disney Springs can get crowded at times, it’s best to prepare for a leisurely and unhurried outing.

If you’re looking for a less crowded dining experience at Disney Springs, there are several options to consider.
One of the best options is The Boathouse, which offers waterfront dining and a menu featuring seafood, steaks, and other classic American dishes.
For a unique Asian-inspired experience, try Morimoto Asia Street Food, a quick-service version of the popular Morimoto Asia restaurant.
Another great option is Wine Bar George, which offers an extensive wine list and small plates perfect for sharing.
If you’re in the mood for Italian food, check out Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante, which serves up delicious pasta, pizza, and seafood in a spacious and elegant setting.
And if you’re a fan of burgers, head over to D-Luxe Burger, which offers gourmet burgers and hand-cut fries in a casual outdoor setting.
These restaurants are all great options for a delicious meal without the crowds at Disney Springs.
Disney Springs is an experience all of its own, and isn’t really comparable to the other Disney parks. There is a lot to do and see, but it’s designed to be really compact and easy to fit into the rest of your travel plans. I do feel that Disney Springs could is an experience not to be missed, particularly if have some down time on your trip. It’s a great way to rest and relax without rushing about constantly.
